You can identify your assigned academic adviser on your MySAIL 账户. 在页面顶部的“我的详细信息”框中. You will see a blue ADVISER link right under your class standing. This link will give you the name and email of your assigned adviser.

In the 文理学院, you also have a 指导教师 specific to your CAS major(s) and/or 小(s). Your 指导教师 is a faculty member in your area of study who can help you with course selection, 的职业目标, 实习/研究机会, 研究生院计划, 和更多的.

建议 appointments are offered virtually via Zoom or in person. Please call (248) 370-4567 to schedule an appointment. You will receive instructions on virtual appointments through your 韦德体育app官网 email. You are now able to self schedule an appointment with your academic adviser. In this system you are able to make, cancel or move your appointment. Below is a list of 小s and concentrations available in the 文理学院. Each link below will take you to the appropriate page of the current undergraduate catalog listing the requirements for the 小 or concentration.
Minors are not required for 文理学院 majors. 然而, students will sometimes complete 小s or concentrations in addition to their major if they have other areas of academic interest. If you are interested in discussing a 小 or concentration, please schedule an appointment with your academic adviser.
Students pursuing admission into the Secondary Teaching Education Program (STEP) must complete a teaching 小 in one of the following areas: biology, 化学, 跳舞, 经济学, 英语, 历史, 数学, 现代语言(西班牙语), 法语或德语), 物理, 政治科学, 或社会学. Teaching 小s for these areas can be found in the same catalog sections as the regular 小s.
一般来说, no more than 8 credits of course work used to satisfy one major, 小, or concentration may be applied toward another.
任命 with a CAS Adviser is required to go over requirements to add a 小. Once you have met with an adviser, a form with me emailed to you to fill out. Once that form is received electronically in our office, we will add that 小. If you are interested in adding any of these 小s or concentrations, please contact our office to set up and appointment with a CAS Adviser at 248-370-4567.
